One fun little detail about Sister Judy’s is the lunch bags. We use bags that are decorated by various groups that support Sister’s work. For example there is an order of Nuns that make beautiful painted bags that look like this:
- This must have been stamped. Too cool
- These are actually painted
Then there is a grade school where they make bags that look like this:
- “Shoot for the stars and find a rainbow” – Ghandi (I think)
- But what if they can’t afford bread and peanut butter… awkward
- It’s abstract art. I think it represents man’s struggle to connect with his fellow man in the information age. Purple symbolizes the suffocating effect of media on intimate relationships… or maybe somebody just really hated the way they drew that butterfly.
- True
Anyway, I will be posting a bag of the week every Wednesday from now on 🙂

I didn’t know that you are such a comedian and a fine writer, to boot. Thank God for all that He is revealing to you in your life in Detroit!
